Parents are required to volunteer for a minimum of 2-3 spots each season per family. A combination of both game day and team meal spots must be selected per parent. A sign up will be circulated at the beginning of the season. There are volunteer spots available for weekly team meals to bring items and/or setup, service and clean up. We also have opportunities to participate in game days with the positions below. A signup sheet for these specific items will go out closer to the start of the season.
- Chain Gang: Report to home game 15 minutes prior to start of game. Go directly to referees on the field. You can also wait for all the chain gang volunteers to meet with Referee at the same time.
- Stats: Those who fulfill the defensive and offensive stats may sit in the booth at the top of the stadium to minimize interruption. Stat sheets, pencils and clip board for both offensive and defensive will need to be printed from the links on our RC Football website. Once the game is over, please give the stat sheets directly to Coach Tinker.
- Gatorade: Please bring the iced Gatorade to where our buses are parked or at the sideline at the end of each home game.
- Video: Varsity games will be filmed and uploaded to Hudl by an individual company but we will need volunteers for both JV and Freshman games. Please get camera from the head coach if you volunteer to film the first half of the game. They can instruct you on how to use the camera. Then provide instructions to the individual who volunteered to film the second half of the game before going back to the stands. The individual filming the 2nd half will be responsible for taking down camera and returning to the coach right after the game.
- Photographer: The photographer is responsible for taking pictures at the assigned game. After the game, please follow this link to send the pictures to Dave Tweed at bottom of the page under ‘photo sharing’. You may also contact Dave Tweed for further assistance at (303) 888-4986 cell or email at datweed@gmail.com when it’s time to upload the pictures.
- Corporate Banners: Arrange to meet the Varsity Coordinator at the field no later than 30 minutes before the home game and/or arrange to pick up banners to hang at bottom of the stands prior to game start. Then once the game is finished, the volunteer must take the banners down. Zip ties and wire clippers (to cut the zip ties) are included in the bag.
- Clock: JV and Freshman game will require a volunteer to run the clock. Please report to clock table 15 minutes prior to game start to get instructions from the coaches and referees.
